At Rayuvtsi Sculpture Academy we believe that the true strength of a folk art lies in its memory and continuity. Our mission is to revive respect for Bulgarian stone carving, to keep its techniques alive and to create works that carry the spirit of history.

Stone carving is a craft built on patience, honor and devotion. We follow the path of the old masters to pass on knowledge that is learned not only with the hands, but with the heart.

We strive to:

• preserve the classical Bulgarian stone-carving traditions handed down from generation to generation;
• train young artists ready to weave their national roots into their work;
• create sculptures and compositions that bring to life great figures and stories kept in the nation's memory;
• foster respect for craftsmanship, for the material and for the heritage we have inherited.

Our mission is simple yet lofty: to breathe new life into an ancient art and restore its place among Bulgaria's living traditions.
