Initiatives and Realized Monuments

The projects of Rayuvtsi Sculpture Academy are dedicated to memory – to Bulgarian heroes, to notable figures and to the events that shaped our history. The Academy welcomes partnerships with municipalities, institutions, community centers and civic initiatives that wish to preserve this memory in a lasting and dignified form.

How We Work

1. Idea and research. We begin with history – documents, images and the context of the place where the work will stand.
2. Design and material. We develop a concept design, choose the right stone and agree on scale and timeline.
3. Carving. The work is created in the Academy's studios using traditional stone-carving techniques.
4. Installation and unveiling. We assist with the installation and the official unveiling of the work.
